Free Content Calendar
See what publishes when on a calendar, run the pipeline on a board, and keep every draft in one place.
A content calendar keeps a team aligned on what is publishing and when. In ZenBuild the calendar is a view of a table, so the same posts also appear on a kanban pipeline and a grid, with statuses, owners, and notes attached to each one.
See your schedule
A calendar view places each post on its publish date, so the month is clear at a glance.
Run the pipeline
A kanban view moves posts from idea to drafting to scheduled to published.
Everything on each post
Owner, channel, status, tags, and markdown notes live on the record, not scattered across tools.
Collect ideas with a form
A public intake form lets anyone submit ideas straight into the calendar.
How it works
- 1Create a content table with a publish-date column and a status select (or start from the Editorial calendar template).
- 2Add a Calendar view to see the schedule and a Kanban view for the pipeline.
- 3Assign owners, track status, and collect new ideas with a form.

Frequently asked questions
Is the content calendar free?
Yes. Calendar and kanban are built-in views on every plan, including the free Starter plan, subject to your limits.
Can I plan by publish date?
Yes. The calendar view plots records by a date column, so every post appears on its publish day. Drag a post to another day to reschedule it.
Can the team collaborate?
Yes. Assign owners with a person column, track status, leave comments on records, and share the board with your team.
Can I collect ideas from others?
Yes. Turn on the table's form view to get a public intake link; each submission becomes a new row in the calendar.
