ZenBuild Tables is a flexible, Airtable-style database that lives right next to your forms and PDFs. Create a table, define typed columns, fill in records, and view your data as a grid, kanban board, timeline, or chart. No spreadsheets or setup required.
From the sidebar, open Tables and click New table, or start from a ready-made structure in the Table Templates gallery. A new table opens with a few starter columns and an empty grid. Give it a name at the top so you can find it later. The grid is your workspace: every row is a record and every column is a field.

Click the plus button at the end of the column headers to add a field, then choose its type: text, long text, number, single select, multi-select, date, checkbox, URL, email, or phone. Single and multi-select fields let you define color-coded options, which is what powers the kanban and chart views later. Rename a column by clicking its header. Set up the fields your data needs, for example a Name, a Status select, an Owner, and a Due date.

Click into any cell to start typing, or use New record to add a row. Cells are typed, so a date column opens a date picker, a select column shows your colored options, and a checkbox toggles on click. Edits save automatically as you go. Paste a block of rows from a spreadsheet to bulk-fill, or import a CSV to bring an existing dataset in.
The same records can be viewed in different ways. Use the view tabs at the top of the table to add a Kanban board (grouped by a select column), a Timeline (laid out by date columns), or a Chart (counts and sums by category). Each view is saved on the table, so you can jump between a spreadsheet grid and a visual board without duplicating any data.
