A kanban board turns your table into a set of columns you can drag cards between, perfect for tracking tasks, leads, or content through stages. In ZenBuild, a kanban board is just another view of a table, so your data stays in one place.
Open a table that has a single-select column, or add one and name it Status. The options you define on that select column, for example To Do, In Progress, and Done, will become the columns of your board. Give each option a color so cards are easy to scan at a glance.

Click the add-view button in the view tabs and choose Kanban. Pick the single-select column you want to group by. The board instantly arranges your records into columns, one per option, with each record shown as a card. Empty options still appear as columns, so you always have a place to drop cards.

Drag any card from one column to another to change its status. The underlying record updates automatically, so the change shows up in the grid and every other view too. Click a card to open the full record and edit any other field. Add a new card directly from a column to create a record already set to that status.
